Welcome to 2017 Aisling Children’s Arts Festival

Welcome Everyone to the 20th Aisling Children’s Festival! How we have grown from our very first Festival! Children everywhere around the county wait with great excitement and anticipation for the Aisling Children’s Festival Brochure to arrive in their schools and homes. The Arts bring Imagination to Life and Aisling facilitates this adventure every year with thrilling theatre performances, workshops galore and toe tapping music. We greatly appreciate the support we receive from our sponsors and all those who help make the festival possible, especially our friends at Backstage Theatre and BYT. We hope to continue for the next 20 years.

Dead of Night Festival

Taking place October 31st 6pm - from St. Mel's to Market Square

Now in its 13th year the dead of night festival is a riot of colour, music and noise. Created by the HSE, County Council and the Garda Siochana along with the Volunteer Service, together with other voluntary stakeholders in order to ensure Halloween can be celebrated in safety and style by everyone.
